Aaron DeMent has a BFA in Illustration & Design from The Kansas City Art Institute, and served four years in the United States Navy as a Draftsman Illustrator/ Photographer/Information Technologist. He worked for one of the largest B2B publishing companies in the United States for the past three years as a Graphic Designer and Production Coordinator.

Confessed Metal Head, music is a major influence in his work. Hardened is the culmination of his life, skill and aspirations.

Todd Zimmer

Todd Zimmer has been photographing live music since 1988. Starting in Upstate New York and continuing in Kansas City since 1997. His work has appeared in Bass Player Magazine, Spin.com, the 72 Musicians movie, on numerous CDs, posters and press kits, in local magazines and newspapers, and in the soon to be released movie “Metalhead”. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1991 with a degree in Technology Education. Todd has worked as a fine woodworker, taught photography and graphic design, and has held an evolution of positions in graphic design for Huhtamaki Americas since 1991.

Capturing the passion of a performance is my focus. Photographing
the vital force of sound is what drives me.
